Angie Lustrick, owner of Angie's World, is one of 21 finalists for the Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship at Cal State San Bernardino's Spirit Award . "It is such an honor to be nominated in a peer group of exceptional business people," said Lustrick, of Riverside. Mike Stull, director of the entrepreneurship center, said of the entrepreneurs, "A lot of them are very successful but fly under the radar so this event provides the publicity they deserve." Lustrick, 35, is nominated in the category of General Entrepreneur. Lustrick is a certified personal trainer, certified nutritionist, public speaker and author. Her latest publication, "Body by Angie: Is Your Body Bankrupt? Learn to Invest in Your Health," explains how to change body composition to manage chronic disease and age more successfully. No miracle diet or dangerously invasive surgery will help people lose weight and keep it off, said Lustrick, who was overweight at one point in her life. Lustrick received her certified nutritionist degree from American Health Science University and earned a degree in biology from UC Riverside . Riverside entrepreneur and fitness expert Angie Lustrick will be making two stops in the Inland Empire to continue her crusade to help America get healthy. Her book Body by Angie: Is Your Body Bankrupt? Learn to Invest in Yourself is a top-rated five stars by Amazon reviewers, and an inspirational must-read for those who want to take control of their health.
A certified nutritionist and an ACSM certified personal trainer, Ms. Lustrick is also President of Angie’s World, a personal training and nutrition center based in Riverside. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of California, Riverside and her degree in nutrition at American Health Science University.
Also a professional public speaker, Ms. Lustrick as a long list of appearances in a variety of media, including her own exercise videos, and has also developed a line of skin care products.

Business News for Inland Southern California
At a time when many local businesses are struggling or even closing their doors, Inland Southern California still boasts successful entrepreneurs whose companies are contributing to the region's economic recovery by creating jobs and producing innovative products. The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship, a school within the College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino, will honor the region's top entrepreneurs Nov. 10 with the 8th annual Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards at the Riverside Convention Center. This year's 21 finalists, broken down to three each in seven categories, were chosen from among 45 semifinalists. The categories are Emerging Entrepreneur, Supporter of Entrepreneurship, General Entrepreneur, Technology Entrepreneur, Family Business Entrepreneur, Innovator Entrepreneur and Social Entrepreneur. "These business do really cool things," said Mike Stull, director of the IECE. "A lot of people don't know about them because of where they are located.
